Mid-distance Race 100 km (50 km, 4 hrs mandatory stops, 50 km).

Mass start.

Classes in Onega's Necklace Race 2014:

- MD6 (A 6-dog Mid-Distance class Team shall consist of not more than six (6) dogs and not less than four (4) dogs for competitors from 16 years of age),
- MD8-12 (A 12-dog Mid-Distance class Team shall consist of not more than twelve (12) dogs and not less than eight (8) dogs in the first heat and not less than seven (7) dogs in any subsequent heat for competitors from 16 years of age),
- MDSJ1 (Mid-Distance One Dog Class Skijoring for competitors from 19 years and above),
- MDSJ2 (Mid-Distance Two Dog Class Skijoring for competitors (minimum 1 dog, maximum 2 dogs) from 19 years and above).

Karelian Sleddog Sport Federation presents:

For all Russian and foreing sportsmen, both IFSS World Cup events wich our Federation will hold this year (Onega's Necklace Race 1-2 february 2014 and DoubleDream Race 21-23 of march 2014) will be free of charge. It meens we have no any organizational fees.

In addition, we will help all foreign sportsmen (who wants to take part in these races) to make veterinary, visa and other documents wich they need to prepare for entry to Russia.

We will not charge any additional fees and charges for paperwork.

Dear friends!

We are glad to introduce a new for Russia, but popular in Nortern Europe MD4-class. And the first race with MD4-class will starts like a part of our linear mid-distance Onega's Necklace Race 2014!

MD4-teams will compete at the distance 25+25 km with 4-hour mandatory rest. Each team can take 1 dog in pool. MD4 starts with not more than 4 dogs and minimum 3 dogs. At the finish line team must consist not less than 3 dogs.

We are inviting all teams who wants to try themself in mid-distance races 1-2 february 2014 in Kudama, Karelia, Russia.

Remind that Onega's Necklace Race 2014 conducted in accordance with IFSS Race Rules and, thereby, on the race IFSS Anti-Doping Rules and regulations shall apply (see 6.1 IFSS Rules 19.07/2013)

And, please pay particular attention to the fact that at the time of competition alcohol (ethanol) is denied.

Organizers will may test your exhaled breath or blood test.

Anti-doping rule violation is considered to exceed the threshold alcohol concentration greater than 0.10 g/l.

Be careful in the time before race and on the trail and remember about it on the Mushers' Party!
